• Locum Neurosurgeon needed for weekend and holiday call coverage
• Adult neurosurgery and trauma-focused role
• Ongoing coverage need starting June 2026
• Level II Trauma Center with strong inpatient support
• Epic EMR environment
• Adult neurosurgery and trauma-focused role
• Ongoing coverage need starting June 2026
• Level II Trauma Center with strong inpatient support
• Epic EMR environment
Job Responsibilities
• Manage brain bleeds and acute trauma cases
• Perform spine surgeries (fusion, laminectomy, diskectomy)
• Handle vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty procedures
• Manage critical care cases (EVD, ICP/CPP monitoring)
• Respond to neurosurgical consults during call coverage
Qualifications
• Active Michigan medical license
• BLS certification required
• Fellowship training preferred
• Experience in adult neurosurgery and trauma
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required
Working Hours
• Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday shifts only
