Skull Base Neurosurgeon Opportunity – Detroit, Michigan

We are seeking a fellowship-trained Skull Base Neurosurgeon for a full-time, employed position in Detroit, MI. This role offers the opportunity to join an expanding neurosciences team supported by a newly accredited Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program. Candidates with an interest in academic involvement and clinical research are encouraged to apply.
Position Highlights
Diverse clinical mix of general neurosurgery and skull base procedures
Typical schedule: 3–4 clinic days and 1–2 OR/procedure/call days per week
Shared call rotation with five providers and support from eight NPs providing 24/7 inpatient coverage
Dedicated DMC Neurosurgery Clinic located at Harper Hospital in downtown Detroit
Access to state-of-the-art PACs and specialized neurosurgical equipment
Strong ancillary and administrative support across all DMC facilities
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
Fellowship training in Skull Base Neurosurgery (ACGME-accredited) required
Eligible for Michigan medical licensure
Prefer 3–5 years of post-fellowship experience, though all qualified candidates will be considered
