I wanted to share a high-volume Neurosurgery Spine opportunity with one of Nevada’s premier specialty groups—offering a strong referral base, excellent PA support, and top-tier earning potential.
Position Highlights
- Join Nevada’s leading multidisciplinary group in spine, neurosurgery, orthopedics, neurology, and vein care
- 62 MD/APP providers plus 27 PT/OT clinicians
- Call: Shared trauma and neurosurgery call (2nd call model) evenly distributed
- Schedule: 3 clinic / 2 OR days (option for 2 clinic / 3 OR with PA support)
- Clinic volume: 12–16 patients per day
- Case mix: 75–80% MIS, 20–25% complex spine, <5% cranial (surgeon preference)
- Volume: All spine surgeons performed 1,600 cases in 2024; neurosurgeons averaged ~350
- Growing demand in the Carson/Tahoe region and succession planning for two senior surgeons
- Average earnings: $1.2–$1.4M annually
- Model: 55% overhead / 45% direct pay on revenues; 75% direct pay for trauma call
- Base draw: $300K–$400K (1-year guarantee, typically surpassed quickly)
- Option for tiered overhead model to increase earnings
- Ancillary profit-sharing (after 2 years) and ASC shareholder opportunity
- Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) contribution, malpractice, licensing, and credentialing covered
- 4 weeks PTO + 1 week CME ($3K allowance, additional funds available)
- Sign-on and relocation bonuses provided
