Patient population: Adults (17+) with trauma & neurosurgery cases
⚙️ Clinical Responsibilities:
-
Manage trauma and adult neurosurgery cases: tumor removal, brain bleed control, trauma repair
-
Perform shunt insertions/revisions, cranial burr holes, ICP monitoring
-
Handle traumatic brain injury, neurocritical care, spinal surgeries (diskectomy, laminectomy, fusion, stabilization)
-
Placement of arterial/venous access, administration of vasoactive/sedating meds
-
EEG interpretation, lumbar punctures, external ventricular drain management, hypothermia protocol application
