Coverage: 7 AM August 27 – 7 AM September 3, 2025 (1 week) | Ongoing 1 week/month starting August 2025

Job Responsibilities
Handle 1-2 emergent surgeries daily including brain bleed stoppage, clot and tumor removal, trauma repair, and shunt procedures
Perform advanced spine surgeries like stabilization, fusion, kyphoplasty, laminectomy, and diskectomy
Collaborate closely with a skilled neurointerventional radiology team onsite
Use EPIC EMR to document high-quality care efficiently
The Setup:
Hospital-based practice at a prestigious Level 1 trauma center
24-hour call coverage, 1 week per month—ideal for locum flexibility
Work alongside 2 neurosurgeons (1 employed, 1 non-employed)
Patient focus: adult and geriatric trauma cases through the emergency department
Qualifications
Valid Ohio Medical License (required)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Working Hours
Weekend Requirements: Yes
On Call Requirements: 1 week/month
