Facility:
This Level I Trauma facility provides comprehensive neurosurgical services with 24/7/365 coverage. The facility utilizes Epic EMR and maintains high standards of patient care with a focus on trauma, general neurosurgery, and spine procedures. The facility is seeking to strengthen their neurosurgical team with additional primary call coverage providers.
Opportunity: Board Certified - Neurological Surgery
This position offers primary call coverage beginning June 2025, with ongoing dates starting October 2025. The facility is looking to fill this position quickly with qualified neurosurgeons who can commit to providing consistent coverage.
Job Details:
- 24-hour call shifts (7am-7am) with 8 gratis hours
- Level I Trauma facility with primary call requirements
- Must be proficient in general neurosurgery, trauma, and spine procedures
- Epic EMR system (training provided)
- Initial shifts beginning June 7-10, 2025, with ongoing dates starting October 2025
- Requires active Colorado license (or IMLC with Letter of Qualification)
- Must maintain current ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications
- Full-time equivalent (FTE) position
- Average callback hours: approximately 7 hours per shift
- Weekend coverage required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation for callback hours, holiday coverage, and orientation time beyond 8 hours.
