**Facility:**

This opportunity is with a prestigious 650-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center in the Great Lakes Bay Region. The facility features a robust and expanding neurosciences program, a high-volume emergency department with approximately 100,000 visits annually, and a dedicated 10-bed Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit. The organization operates as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) health system and has a joint venture with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.

**Opportunity: Board Certified-Neurological Surgery**

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Neurosurgeon, preferably with neuroendovascular training, to join a growing, multidisciplinary neuroscience team in a Primary Stroke Center working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center designation.

**Job Details:**

• Join a team of 3 neurosurgeons and 4 medical neurologists, supported by neuroradiologists and physiatrists
• Perform a range of neurosurgical procedures, with preference for candidates trained in neuroendovascular surgery
• Collaborate within a Primary Stroke Center working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center designation
• Utilize advanced neuroimaging, diagnostic tools, and surgical technology
• Participate in stroke rehabilitation with access to inpatient rehab and neuropsychology consult services
• Contribute to medical education and mentorship opportunities (if desired)
• Deliver care in a physician-led culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered outcomes
• Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in Neurological Surgery
• MD or DO degree required
• Active Michigan license or in process of obtaining required
• Relocation assistance offered
• Potential for loan repayment (negotiable)

**Compensation:**

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Practice in a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) health system, which may qualify for federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
