<p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">The University of Missouri Department of Neurosurgery is currently recruiting a neurosurgeon specializing in Functional Neurosurgery. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Successful candidates will have a focus in deep brain stimulation for patients with movement disorders, as well as those patients with epilepsy and facial pain. This position will also provide general neurosurgery coverage.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">Faculty will participate in general and pediatric neurosurgery on-call coverage; contribute to resident selection and evaluation; participate in resident and medical education through supervision in the clinical setting and operating room, as well as through academic curriculum development; and involvement in clinically relevant research and scholarship.</span></p></span>
