A 420-bed regional referral and Level II trauma center in Dothan, Alabama, seeks board-certified/ board-eligible Neurosurgeon to join their well-established Neurospine Center treating adult patients.


Job Description

  • Clinic is located on the hospital?s campus with easy access to OR, ED, etc.
  • Staffing currently consists of 2 Neurosurgeons (1 General, 1 Cerebrovascular/Endovascular), an interventional/Vascular Neurologist, NeuroHospitalists, and Neuroradiologists
  • Schedule is roughly 40% clinic, 60% procedural (case mix is roughly 70% spine and 30% general)
  • Will have dedicated OR time, so doesn?t have to fight with Ortho, General Surgery, etc. for OR time
  • Call is roughly 10 days/month (includes trauma and ED calls)
