Locums General Surgery - Clinton, North Carolina
Reason: Coverage for surgeon vacation
Setting: hospital inpatient
Start Date: March 2, 2022
End Date: March 4, 2022
Call only (beeper) 24 hour shifts 7am - 7pm
Bread and Butter Surgery: Hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast surgery, "lumps and bumps," abscess drainage, endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy), appendectomy, small bowel and colon surgery.
*Must have clean background; NO RECENT OR OPEN MALPRACTICE CASES
*Malpractice or disciplinary information must be included before candidate will be considered.
*Board Certification required
*Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed.
*Must have active NC license and NC DEA (NC address).
Surgeon will be provided hospital owned individual apartments onsite. Very nice and clean, cable and Wi-Fi.
Any travel expenses will be capped at $500.00. This includes airfare, rental car OR mileage (not both).
Call type: physician will be on-call for services, and bylaws require them to be within 20 minutes of the facility. Preferred housing, again, is on-site in hospital-owned apartments.
Meditech 6.1 is current EMR.
**Need 4 - 6 hours gratis daily. Preference is to have gratis hours bulked**
