General Surgeon - Practice in the Southern Portion of New Zealand's North Island
We have an opportunity for a general surgeon to practice in the heart of New Zealand's North Island, about an hour and a half from the southern city of Wellington. This is a full-time position where you can plan to work 40 hours per week and see about 17 patients per day. You'll split your time between outpatient operating clinics, operating sessions, rounding, and providing some acute operations. Upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy is required. An interest in skin cancer surgery is also a plus.
You can get started as soon as we get you credentialed. You must be willing to make a minimum commitment of 12 months, although a longer-term commitment would be preferred. And once you get here, trust us, you won't want to leave this place.
