Why This Role
No call
Two weeks per month
Defined January coverage blocks
Two openings
12-hour inpatient shifts
Assignment Details
January 4, 2027 start; ongoing need
Two weeks per month; 7–14 shifts required
January coverage: January 4–10 and January 18–24, 7 a.m.–7 p.m.
Ongoing shifts: 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.; availability for either required
Inpatient trauma surgery coverage; no call
Approximately 20 patients per shift
Rounding on assigned and unassigned patients
Level II trauma setting with Level III pediatric trauma designation
Surgical team support
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: approximately 90 days
Clinical Details
Inpatient trauma surgery care and rounding
Pediatric trauma consultation and participation in pediatric surgical cases required
Pediatric volume: fewer than 20 cases per month
Pediatric operative responsibilities to be confirmed
No admissions, APP supervision or resident teaching required
Requirements
Board-certified NP or PA
Active WA license
Active DEA
Current ACLS and ATLS
Pediatric surgical experience and competency
Availability for two weeks per month and either day or night shifts
