Hand Surgeon Opening in Phoenix, AZ
Located in Phoenix, AZ
Overview
* A not for profit, physician owned faculty practice group is seeking a full time hand surgeon with a strong interest in academics and trauma
* Join a busy hand practice with a strong emphasis on trauma, supported by the general surgery trauma team
* Faculty role assisting the Hand Section Chief in developing the clinical service line, with inpatient and outpatient elective, urgent and emergent hand care, teaching and on call coverage
* The hospital is a community hospital and a state and American College of Surgeons designated Level 1 Trauma Center in metro Phoenix
* The department hosts general surgery and surgical podiatry residency programs and supervises plastic surgery resident rotators
* Experienced candidates and 2027 residents and fellows are considered, and H-1B transfers are accepted
Qualifications
* Board certified and/or eligible, with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery (certified or eligible)
* Comfortable with a teamwork approach to patient management
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary: $553,000 to $586,500 depending on experience
* Paid time off, CME allowance with paid time off
* Employer paid malpractice insurance
