An opportunity is available for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgery Physician to provide 24/7 orthopedic trauma call coverage in Kearney, Nebraska. The physician will provide inpatient and emergency department coverage at a Level II Trauma Center, managing orthopedic injuries and performing surgical procedures as needed.
Schedule & Coverage
- 24-hour call coverage
- 24/7 coverage
- Inpatient and Emergency Department setting
Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic surgery coverage for Level II trauma patients.
- Evaluate and manage orthopedic injuries and fractures.
- Provide general orthopedic care and fracture management.
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures as needed.
- Respond to emergency department and inpatient consultations.
- Coordinate patient care with emergency medicine, trauma, and other specialty teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
- Active Nebraska medical license.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
- Proficiency in general orthopedic care and fracture management.
