📍 Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
📅 Coverage Period: January 25 – March 28, 2027
🏥 Setting: Inpatient Hospital | Level II Trauma Center
⏰ Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
📞 Call Structure: 12 hours primary call + 12 hours backup call
✅ No requirement to remain in-house during call
⚡ Must respond to all pagers within 20 minutes
✨ Key Responsibilities

Provide acute care trauma and emergency surgical coverage

Manage inpatient surgical and trauma patients
-
Collaborate with an APP supporting inpatient rounding
-
Deliver surgical critical care services as needed
📆 Available Coverage Dates

January 25–31: Day coverage

February 8–14: Night coverage

February 22–28: Day coverage

March 1–7: Night coverage

March 15–21: Day coverage

March 22–28: Day coverage
✅ Requirements
-
Board Certification in General Surgery required
-
Surgical Critical Care certification preferred
-
Experience in acute care surgery and trauma coverage preferred

Ability to provide 24-hour call coverage and respond to pages within 20 minutes
