General Surgery Opening in Iowa
Located in Sioux City IA; Sioux Falls, SD 85m
BE/BC
Full-time; Permanent position
Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
J-1 waiver sponsorship available
Overview
Balanced mix of trauma, general surgery, and outpatient follow-up care
Typical office hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Average of 15 patients per day, and postoperative follow-up visits
Office procedures vary based on physician preference
Practice includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Shared 1:3 call rotation
Coverage includes level 3 trauma, ED, and inpatient consultation
Approximately 10 days of call per month, with home call (not required to remain onsite).
Evening and weekend call responsibilities
