The facility serves a rural population, holds a Rural Health Designation, and is an NHSC Approved Site, providing meaningful care to surrounding communities including those near the Cherokee Indian Reservation.Opportunity:
Employed - General SurgeryJob Details:
- Join an established group of 2 full-time employed General Surgeons in a hospital-employed model
- Shared call schedule of 1:4 with a community provider
- daVinci Robot on site with robotic training preferred
- Must be willing to perform bread-and-butter General Surgery cases along with scopes
- Full-time position with schedule including 1 full day of scopes per week (average 8-10 scopes)
- New residents are welcome to apply
- Located one hour west of Asheville with breathtaking mountainous views surrounding the hospital and clinic
- Outdoor recreation at your fingertips including hiking, biking, and over 100 waterfalls in Jackson, Macon, Franklin, and Highlands Counties
