Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for hand surgery (7a-7a).
- Manage emergency department and transfer center calls related to hand injuries.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Utilize the EMR system (EPIC) for effective patient documentation.
- Participate in the ongoing scheduling process for future dates.
- Adhere to established guidelines and support the hospital's protocols for patient safety.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Surgery of the Hand.
- Completion of a Hand Surgery Fellowship.
- Active Colorado License or Active IMLC.
- Active DEA certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to provide ongoing availability for scheduled dates.
- Consent to stay at preferred lodging facilities during assignments.
- Clean malpractice history and background checks.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Surgery of the Hand – Required.
- Active Colorado License or Active IMLC – Required.
- Active DEA – Highly Preferred.
