Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center in Hazard, KY needs general surgery call coverage, starting 10/23/2026, ongoing. $2,750/day, all-inclusive call. Multiple blocks currently open through early January.

Job Responsibilities

24-hour call coverage, assigned patient rounding, no admissions required. Bowel resection, emergency general surgery trauma, perforations, I&D of abscesses, and wound care. 99-bed hospital, Level 4 trauma, 10-15 patients per shift. Supervise a PA/NP. Chart in MediTech.

Qualifications

Board certified in General Surgery required. Fellowship required. Active Kentucky license or IMLC. ACLS and BLS required. Credentialing runs approximately 30 days, temp privileges available.

Working Hours

24-hour call blocks: 10/23 (7am)-10/26 (7am), 10/29 (7am)-11/2 (7am), 11/26 (7am)-11/30 (7am), and 12/24 (7am)-1/3 (7am).
