Breast Surgeon

Our client, a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advanced surgical services, is hiring a Breast Surgeon. An innovative and reputable medical institution is seeking a highly skilled Breast Surgeon to join its specialized surgical team. This pivotal role involves delivering top-tier breast surgery services within a dynamic hospital environment. The candidate will play a critical role in patient outcomes, supporting the institution’s mission to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform outpatient and inpatient breast surgical procedures with precision and care.
• Evaluate and diagnose patients with breast-related conditions, developing effective treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to billing procedures, including familiarity with relevant billing codes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical techniques, hospital protocols, and best practices in breast surgery.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and contribute to departmental meetings and continuing education.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate surgical experience, with specific expertise in breast surgery.
• Completion of an accredited surgical residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and specialized training in Breast Surgery.
• Proven experience in hospital settings, with a strong understanding of billing codes and procedures.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate superior surgical skills, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Familiarity with billing processes related to breast surgery is highly preferred.
• Must not be a recent graduate; extensive practical hospital experience is essential.
• Candidates with a background in billing and coding related to breast procedures or prior hospital billing experience are preferred.
• Willingness to work with Catholic Health candidates.
