Surgical Critical Care opportunity near Boston Massachusetts. An outstanding opportunity for a Surgical Critical Care physician seeking competitive compensation, generous time off, and the chance to help shape a growing multidisciplinary ICU program. Join an established surgical team with opportunities for leadership, program development, teaching, and a combined ICU practice caring for both surgical and medical patients.
Competitive base salary plus productivity incentives. Sign-on bonus available. Relocation assistance available. Generous 5 weeks of ATO plus CME allowance. Occurrence-based malpractice coverage with no tail. 403(b) retirement plan plus additional deferred compensation options. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits. Split clinical responsibilities between Surgical Critical Care/ICU coverage and General Surgery. Combined ICU caring for both surgical and medical patients. Opportunity to help build a multidisciplinary ICU team with surgeons, pulmonologists, and anesthesiologists. Opportunity to develop a Surgical Step-Down Unit. Teaching opportunities with surgery residents and Physician Assistants. Leadership and program development opportunities for experienced candidates. Broad surgical environment including orthopedic, plastic, thoracic, vascular, urologic, and podiatric services. Access to state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgery, including the da Vinci 5 platform. Ideal candidate is BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care and comfortable managing the full spectrum of critical care.
