Gynecology Surgery position in: Manchester & Hartford, CT

MIGS opening in Connecticut Full-Time & Permanent Located in Manchester Seeking a BE/BC OBGYN with Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship to join hospital. Requirements:

• Board certified or be an active candidate for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) or a similar program, or have extensive experience in MIGS
• Fluency in Spanish, or languages other than English, is highly desirable but not required Details:
• Monday through Friday role
• Practice in a collaborative team environment where all providers are connected through Epic—fully-integrated EMR system.
• Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective advanced practice care for patients, families, and others in a target population, and participates in the medical and surgical treatment for chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis and fibroids, to achieve or maintain optimal health status, manage disease and reduce risk of illness.
• Physicians in this role will participate in gynecology service coverage, surgical procedures, and ambulatory care.
• Obstetrics is not mandatory.
• Engages in independent decision-making regarding the health care of individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan and the healthcare continuum.
• Seeking a physician to support the MIGs team in performing surgeries
• Multi-disciplinary team includes OB/GYN generalists, specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, MIGS, Urogynecology, Gyn Oncology, Complex Family Planning, and Gender Health, along with Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Genetic Counselors.
