- Location: Duluth, MN – 915 East 1st Street
- Start Date: 08/29/2026
- Duration: Indefinite
- Shift: 7-10 days per month, up to 14 days; preferred schedule to be discussed
- Hours/Week: Flexible based on schedule
- Employment Type: Contract
- Licenses/Certifications: Active medical license in Minnesota or ability to obtain, Board Certified/Eligible in Thoracic Surgery preferred
- Experience: Prior cardiothoracic or thoracic surgery experience recommended
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00

- Provide specialized cardiothoracic surgical care within the facility’s surgical team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform thoracic and cardio thoracic procedures as required
- Participate in pre- and post-operative patient management
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction
- Document procedures and patient interactions accurately and timely
- Comply with all hospital policies and medical regulations
Required:
- Valid medical license in Minnesota or eligible for licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
Preferred:
- Previous experience in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule and patient needs
