Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon for a locum tenens weekend call-coverage position at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana, Texas. This is a hospital-based, call-only role. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: acute care hospital, inpatient and outpatient (Trauma Level IV)
- Coverage: call-only, weekends (specific August dates)
- Volume: approximately 1-3 patients per shift
- EMR: MedHost
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 3 days
Job Responsibilities
Respond to consults and provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care.
Manage approximately 1-3 patients per shift.
Document care in MedHost EMR.
Qualifications
Active Texas license required.
DEA required; ACLS required.
Fellowship training preferred.
