Job description
We are seeking a General Surgeon for a locum tenens position in Ketchikan, Alaska. This is a Critical Access Hospital role with weekday 8-hour shifts and no call. Please see below for more information.
- Critical Access Hospital, Adult Trauma Level IV
- 8-hour shifts (schedule TBD), no call
- General surgery coverage
- Epic EMR
- 13 week assignment; start October 2026
Job Responsibilities
- Cover weekday 8-hour shifts
- Perform general surgical procedures
- Manage surgical patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
Qualifications
- Active Alaska license required (IMLC or AK locums temp licensure considered)
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Epic EMR experience required
