General Surgery Opening John Day, OR
Full Time | General Surgery
Seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join a Critical Access Hospital serving the John Day, Oregon community.
Position Highlights:
Broad-spectrum General Surgery practice
Outpatient clinic, operating room, and inpatient responsibilities
Approximately 22 clinic patients per week with opportunity for practice growth
Perform a wide variety of procedures including:
- General Surgery
- Endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Emergency and Trauma Surgery
Shared general surgery and trauma call
Round on surgical inpatients
Opportunity to serve as Trauma Medical Director
Provide leadership, education, and oversight for the trauma program and surgical team
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Eligible for Oregon medical licensure
Leadership experience or interest in Trauma Medical Directorship preferred
