Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months minimum (dependent on permanent recruitment)
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
- Typically 1 weekend per month and 1 full week per month
- Weekend call: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
Call Required: Yes
Clinical Details
- Setting: Hospital (163 beds)
- Patient Population: Varies
- Coverage Type: In-house call only (no outpatient clinic responsibilities)
- Average Callback: 2–6 hours per day
- EMR: Epic
- Skills Required: Broad general surg experience with the ability to manage a wide range of acute surg cases
