Full-time; Permanent
Overview:
* Seeking a General Surgeon to join its premier surgical team in Mason City, IA.
* This dynamic, high-volume, technologically advanced practice offers the full spectrum of surgical services.
* Join the team of 3 General Surgeons, 1 Acute/Trauma General Surgeon, and 2 PA’s
* Hybrid General/Acute Trauma Surgeon model- offering a mix of elective surgeries & clinic, as well as acute/trauma surgery
* Full scope: Surgical (laparoscopic, open, robotic), Endoscopy, Rounding & Clinic/ED consults
* Block OR time
* 2 DaVinci XI Robots
* Call- 7-8 days/month

Comp/Benefits:
* 2-year guaranteed base: $462,000/year + production; production based starting year 3
* $100,000 Recruitment Incentive
* Moving allowance- up to $15,000

Qualifications:
* BC/BE- Must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible
* H1B & J1 candidates encouraged to apply
* All offers are contingent upon the successful completion of references, background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
* Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
* Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program
* Above average communication skills.
* Ability to work with a team.
* Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
