Gynecologic Surgeon – Utica, NY
Full-time, permanent position
Located in Utica, NY - Syracuse 50m
Position Overview
A growing Women’s Health program is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Surgeon to provide comprehensive gynecologic care and procedural services while serving as a clinical leader within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. This position offers the opportunity to perform a broad range of gynecologic procedures, mentor advanced practice providers, and contribute to quality and program development initiatives.
Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
* Active and unrestricted New York medical license
* Minimum of 3–5 years of gynecologic practice experience preferred
* Experience mentoring or supervising APPs strongly preferred
* BLS Certification Required
* ACLS Certification Preferred
* New York State Mandated Reporter Certification Required

Clinical Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive gynecologic care
* Diagnose and manage complex gynecologic conditions
* Perform office-based and surgical procedures

* Coordinate care with multidisciplinary providers
* Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Surgical & Procedural Focus
* Hysterectomies
* Laparoscopic procedures

* Preventive gynecologic care
* Diagnostic evaluations
* Therapeutic gynecologic procedures
Leadership & APP Oversight
* Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
* Support APP onboarding, training, and professional development
* Promote collaboration across the Women's Health team
* Participate in performance feedback and clinical education initiatives
Quality & Professional Development
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
* Support department education and staff development
* Integrate emerging evidence-based practices into clinical care
* Promote patient satisfaction and clinical excellence
Compensation & Benefits
* Base Salary Range: $307,000 – $412,000
