What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions through physical exams and imaging studies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical approaches
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care to ensure safety and recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care and therapy providers
- Participate in on-call coverage and manage emergency orthopedic cases
- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting evaluations, treatments, and surgical outcomes
- Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and apply evidence-based practices
- Engage in continuing medical education to enhance skills and knowledge
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Vermont medical license or eligible
- Proven experience in orthopedic surgery, including familiarity with latest techniques
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience with joint replacements, arthroscopy, or trauma surgery
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
