POSITION SUMMARY

Opportunity for a general surgeon to join a hospital-based surgical practice supporting a broad range of routine surgical procedures. The position offers access to established operating room resources, experienced perioperative personnel, endoscopic capabilities, and administrative support. Responsibilities focus on general surgical care without trauma coverage and include participation in a shared call schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Surgery.
• Residency training in Surgery.
• Training or experience in General Surgery.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
• Experience in general surgical and endoscopic procedures preferred.

COMPETENCIES

• Management of common general surgical conditions and procedures.
• Performance of endoscopic evaluations and related interventions.
• Collaboration with operating room, anesthesia, and clinical support teams.
• Ability to participate in shared call responsibilities.
