GENERAL SURGERY
Employment Type: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides comprehensive surgical care, including a broad range of general procedures and endoscopic services. The role supports a stable patient population and functions within a clinical setting equipped with modern operating rooms and ready-to-use resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in General Surgery.
• Residency training in general surgery.
• Ability to perform endoscopic procedures.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Prior surgical practice experience.
COMPETENCIES
• Proficiency in managing routine general surgical conditions.
• Skill in performing endoscopic evaluations.
• Ability to practice effectively without robotic platforms.
• Strong clinical judgment in operative and perioperative care.
• Effective communication within multidisciplinary teams.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Office space located within the hospital campus.
• Access to modern operating rooms and essential surgical equipment.
• Support from administrative and clinical personnel.
• Engagement in both ambulatory and inpatient surgical services.
• Established patient volume supporting consistent clinical activity.
