Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgery Opportunity in Lewiston, ID
Position Overview:
Seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with Foot & Ankle fellowship training (preferred) to join an established orthopedic surgery team within a regional medical center. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering strong surgical volume, experienced support staff, and a collaborative multispecialty environment.
Practice Details:
Full-time employed orthopedic surgery position
Clinic schedule: Monday–Thursday 8a–5p, Friday 8a–12p
Flexible structure with 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours weekly
Average patient volume: 15–20 patients per day (once ramped)
Call:
- Foot & ankle only: ~10 days/month
- General ortho participation option: 1:7 rotation
Join an established orthopedic group including:
- 1 spine surgeon
- 1 hand surgeon
- 3 general orthopedic surgeons
Full clinical support staff including RNs, MAs, reception, and referral/auth team
Hospital-based practice with inpatient and outpatient surgical care
Facility Highlights:

Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Foot & Ankle Surgery strongly preferred
Eligible for Idaho medical license and DEA registration
Strong surgical and clinical skills required
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary starting around $430K with wRVU production incentive or pure production model option
$50K sign-on bonus
