Orthopedic Hand Surgery Opportunity in Ashland, KY
A leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Hand Surgery to join a well-established and high-volume orthopedic team. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering exceptional compensation, advanced facilities, and strong referral support.
Practice Details
Full-time employed Orthopedic Hand Surgery position
Join an established orthopedic surgery group
Shared call with 6 orthopedic surgeons
High-volume practice with strong regional demand
Access to newly expanded facilities including ER and imaging department
EPIC EMR system
Clinical Responsibilities
Perform a full range of hand and upper extremity surgical procedures
Evaluate and manage orthopedic conditions related to the hand and upper extremity
Provide both inpatient and outpatient care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PM&R and other specialists
Maintain accurate documentation and patient care plans
Support & Resources
Referral network from 40+ primary care clinics and multiple regional hospitals
Service area of approximately 750,000 patients
Access to advanced imaging and surgical technology
Strong APP and clinical support teams

$750,000 salary guarantee plus wRVU and quality incentives

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Hand Surgery
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
Strong surgical and clinical skills
