Job description
Elite General Surgery Locum starting ASAP, minimum 6-month assignment. Weekend inpatient coverage on-call, 24-hour shifts up to 1 week at a time. Perfect for board-certified surgeons with broad general surgery skills. Epic EMR in use; hospital bed size 163. Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage acute surgical care and admissions
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff
• Maintain documentation in Epic EMR
Qualifications
• PA medical license required
• DEA registration required
• Robotic experience preferred but optional
• Strong general surgery acumen
Working Hours
• Coverage scheduled based on provider availability (up to 1 week at a time)
• 0.5 FTE equivalent per month
Skills
