Job description
Elite General Surgery Locum starting ASAP, minimum 6-month assignment. On-call inpatient coverage only, 24-hour shifts scheduled based on availability (1 week at a time). Ideal for board-certified surgeons with broad general surgery experience. Epic EMR in use; hospital bed size 252.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage admissions, acute care, and post-op patients
• Coordinate with nursing and support staff as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
Qualifications
• PA medical license required
• DEA registration required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required
• Strong general surgery skills
Working Hours
• Scheduled based on provider availability (1 week at a time)
• Coverage approximately 2.7 FTE equivalent per month
