Where You’ll Work

On Hawai’i’s Big Island, Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute-care facility that serves Waimea and surrounding communities. Part of The Queen’s Health Systems, Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital has over 300 employees and more than a dozen physicians who serve the main hospital as well as outpatient clinics at Lucy Henriques Medical Center. The Level III Trauma Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a designated Baby-Friendly birth facility.

Where You’ll Live

Waimea is unlike any other part of Hawai’i. Located on the Big Island, the historic area is Hawai’i’s cowboy country. Nestled on an idyllic landscape covered in rolling green pastures, Kamuela (also called Waimea) is home to cattle ranches, including one of the oldest in the United States. In contrast, Waimea offers a thriving cultural and entertainment scene with boutique shops, theater and world-class dining, making it a great place to live, work and play.

Who You’ll Work For

The Queen’s Health Systems is a nonprofit healthcare organization with a network of facilities that serve Hawai’i and the Pacific Basin. As Hawai’i’s leading healthcare establishment, the statewide network has more than 8,000 employees and more than 1,500 affiliated physicians and providers. Its mission is to provide quality healthcare services to improve the well-being of Native Hawaiians and all the people of Hawai’i.
