Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: April 14, 2026 (Orientation shift).

• Schedule: 5–10 days per month. Clinic (Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm) + Night Beeper Call + 24-hour Weekend Call.

• Call Details: 24-hour call is primarily for the ED with clinic follow-up as needed. Average onsite/callback volume is approximately 8 hours per 24-hour shift. Weekend call includes 4 hours of gratis.

• EMR: EPIC.

Scheduled Coverage Dates (2026)

• April: 14 (Orientation), 15–20

• May: 14–25

• July: 9–13

• September: 2–15

• Sept 28 – Oct 13: (Open gap; facility is flexible on dates within this window)

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

• Setting: Mixed Inpatient and Outpatient (Clinic/Hospital).

• Volume: Average of 10 patients per day.

• Procedures Required: General surgery within a critical access environment. Colonoscopy and Endoscopy are mandatory.

• Inpatient Duties: Rounding and admissions for a 21-bed unit.

• Demographics: Adult patients only.

Provider Requirements

• Licensure: Active Oregon (OR) Medical License must be in hand at time of presentation.

• Board Status: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible.

• Clinical Activity: Must provide case logs from the last 24 months representative of the requested privileges.

• Certifications: Active ACLS (AHA or ARC only).

• Credentialing: Seeking expedited processing; candidates must be highly responsive with application and verifications.
