Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join a hospital-employed surgical program in Louisa, Kentucky. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, strong surgical infrastructure, and an excellent work-life balance in a supportive community hospital environment.
Position Highlights:
Employed general surgery position
Flexible schedule
Bread-and-butter general surgery practice
No gastroenterology required due to a very busy GI program performing more than 2,500 scopes annually
Practice located adjacent to the hospital for easy access
Excellent anesthesia support
Operating room staff proficient in all areas of surgery
Four operating room suites, dedicated endoscopy room, and cystoscopy room
Modern surgical towers, scopes, and monitors
Supportive hospital administration
Strong focus on work-life balance
Open to new graduates and experienced surgeons
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Completion of U.S. residency training
Comfortable practicing without robotic surgery
Able to perform hemorrhoid treatment
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
