Duration: January 2026-November 2026.
Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month
Shift: 24 hour call shift, must be available for the specific blocks
Call: 24 hour
Scope: Bread and Butter General Surgery call coverage.
Procedures: Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, bowel surgery, biopsy, mastectomy, tumor removal, wound care, upper GI scopes, thyroid, parathyroid, Trauma stabilization (about 2-3 a year)
Da Vinci Robotic is the robotic system
EMR: EPIC
Hospital: Level IV trauma center
Required: Board Certified or truly board eligible in General Surgery.
Alaska license is preferred but will consider non-licensed candidates
