Opportunity:
Locums General Surgery
Job Details:
• Coverage needed during medical leave of another surgeon from January to May, 7-10 days per month
• Hospital inpatient coverage and ED coverage
• Transfers and inpatient call from 6am to 6am
• Adult general surgery required, pediatric surgery preferred
• Laparoscopic surgery required (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication preferred)
• Ventilation management preferred
• Vascular surgery capabilities preferred (aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass, peripheral, vascular access devices, AV shunt)
• Pediatric surgical skills preferred for various conditions (artesias, abdominal wall defects, diaphragmatic hernia, etc.)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
