Position Summary
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join a well-established, hospital-employed practice in Lawton, Oklahoma.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a broad range of general surgery procedures , including bread-and-butter cases and endoscopic scopes . Essential Responsibilities
Perform a broad scope of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and endoscopic cases.
Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical consultations.
Participate in shared call coverage and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
Document clinical care accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
Contribute to surgical department growth, quality improvement, and community outreach efforts.
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Licensure & Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
Eligible for Oklahoma medical licensure.
Experience: Experience in a broad general surgery practice preferred; new graduates welcome.
Skills: Strong procedural competence, clinical judgment, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary at or above MGMA median , based on experience
Quarterly bonus potential
$30,000 sign-on bonus
$3,000–$5,000 CME allowance + 5 days of CME leave annually
