Location: Rutherfordton, North Carolina – a charming, historic community just 10 minutes from Lake Lure and one hour from Asheville. Facility: 143-bed hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including family care, pediatrics, orthopedics, general surgery, women’s services, and emergency care. Opportunity: Hospital-employed, full-time BC/BE General Surgeon position joining a well-established surgical team. The role supports a growing hospital system with a strong focus on quality care and patient satisfaction, welcoming both experienced surgeons and new graduates, including visa candidates.

Bread and butter general surgery, endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures

Join a team of 3 General Surgeons; seeking a 4th due to growth

Average 10–20 patients per day

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

OR in the morning followed by clinic hours

Clinic EMR: Athena; Hospital EMR: Meditech

Collegial medical staff includes specialties in Cardiology, Orthopedics, Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics
