Practice Overview:
Clinical Scope & Environment
- Primarily outpatient breast surgery practice
- Robust and growing patient population
- Seamless access to multidisciplinary oncology services within SSM Health
Practice Infrastructure
- Fully equipped, on-campus clinic with 3 exam rooms and private office
- Dedicated breast surgery nurse practitioner
- Highly experienced, breast-focused support staff
- Established and expanding referral network
Your Role:
Clinical Excellence
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based breast surgical care
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered treatment across the care continuum
- Collaborate closely with oncology, radiology, and pathology teams
Academic Engagement
- Faculty appointment with Saint Louis University School of Medicine
- Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and trainees
- Participate in clinical education, case discussions, and potential research initiatives
Multidisciplinary Leadership
- Active participation in tumor boards and care coordination
- Partner across specialties to drive high-quality outcomes
- Contribute to program growth, innovation, and quality improvement
What Were Looking For:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology (or equivalent experience)
- Passion for multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care
- Interest in teaching, mentorship, and academic collaboration
- Strong communicator and team-oriented leader
