Job Summary:
HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma surgeon and physician leader to help lead and grow the Orthopedic Trauma program at our Level II Trauma Center in the Denver metropolitan areaQualified Candidates:
- Board certified in orthopedic surgery
- Fellowship trained in orthopedic trauma surgery
- 2-3 yrs. practice experience required
- In addition to maintaining an active and busy clinical practice, this individual will lead Aurora’s Ortho Trauma program through strategy, clinical quality, growth, physician alignment, and the future development of orthopedic trauma services at HCA HealthONE Aurora
- The incoming Ortho Trauma Medical Director will partner directly with hospital and physician leadership to build upon Aurora's trauma capabilities and further establish HCA HealthONE Aurora as a destination for complex orthopedic trauma care
- Collaborate closely with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, anesthesia, nursing, and other surgical specialties
- Strengthen relationships with EMS, referring physicians, and regional partners
