Provide diagnostic and surgical services to the patients of Vandalia Health - Davis Medical Center in Elkins, WV, in accordance with the terms of the employment contract and the highest standards of clinical care.
Job Responsibilities
2. Take leadership in patient care and be responsible for the outcomes of clinical encounters.
3. Provide General Surgery services, including elective and emergency surgical care.
4. Participate in General Surgery on-call rotation as scheduled.
5. Provide appropriate post-operative care for patients on whom surgery has been performed.
6. Report clinically to the Departmental Medical Director and administratively to the Vice President of Ambulatory Services, or their designee, including the Physician Administrator. For matters of professional practice, the physician will be under the authority of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
7. Maintain active clinical privileges at Mon Health Medical Center.
