This regional medical center serves as an important healthcare provider for the surrounding community. The facility offers hospital-owned individual apartments onsite for physicians, complete with cable and Wi-Fi. They utilize Meditech 6.1 as their electronic medical record system and maintain high standards for their medical staff.

Opportunity: Certified - General Surgery
This is a call coverage opportunity for a board-certified general surgeon to provide essential surgical services to the community through 24-hour call shifts.

Job Details:
• 24-hour call shifts from 7AM to 7AM • Bread and butter general surgery including hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast surgery, "lumps and bumps," abscess drainage, endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy), appendectomy, small bowel and colon surgery • Call coverage only position • Must be within 20 minutes of the facility when on-call • Must have active NC license and NC DEA (with NC address) • Must be NC Medicaid credentialed with NPI# • Clean background highly preferred • Board certification required • Travel expenses capped at $500 • Comfortable on-site housing provided in hospital-owned apartments

Compensation:
