Job Summary:

Chippenham Hospital, a Level l Trauma Center is recruiting a fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon to support our growing program in Richmond, Virginia.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified/Board eligible orthopedic surgeon from an accredited training program
  • Virginia licensure or ability to obtain.
  • Must be energetic, motivated and a team player.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients, nursing, physicians and administration.
  • Excellent competencies in both acetabulum and heavy pelvic fracture procedures

  • 466-bed Level l Trauma Center and Level l Burn Center
  • 65-bed Emergency Department
  • 12-bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
  • 15 operating rooms
  • Tucker Pavilion – 137 beds dedicated to inpatient acute behavioral health care
  • Levinson Heart Institute
  • 32-bed Medical Surgical ICU, 12-bed Coronary ICU, and 12-bed dedicated CV ICU
