Opportunity: Certified - General Surgery
This is a locum tenens opportunity for a board-certified general surgeon to provide coverage for 10 days of call in the Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will already be credentialed with this facility and licensed with Medicaid in Oklahoma.
Job Details:
- Coverage needed for 10 days of call out of the ER
- Start date: July 8, 2025 with ongoing potential
- Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
- Board certification required
- Nearest airports: Lawton Airport (5 miles) and Will Rogers World Airport (90 miles)
- Lodging recommendation: Hilton Garden Inn, Lawton
- Preferred skills include experience with adult, pediatric, neonate, and trauma patients
- Laparoscopic surgery experience preferred (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication)
- Experience with various surgical procedures preferred: head/neck, chest wall/pleural, breast, obstetric/gynecologic, liver, GI endoscopy, orthopedics, hand surgery, and vascular procedures
- Pediatric surgical experience is also valuable for this role
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
