Compensation: Competitive salary with incentive-based on experience, 6+ weeks vacation, malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and relocation package.
Location: Centrally located in the heart of the Detroit Lakes Area, 1 hour from Fargo and 3 hours from the Twin Cities.
Facility: An integrated health system serving patients in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Idaho. The System combines the strengths and talents of 11,500 employees, including 1,500 physicians and credentialed practitioners, whose mission is to provide high quality patient centered care. The organization is guided by the values of quality, hospitality, respect, justice, stewardship and teamwork in 17 hospitals, 64 clinics and six long-term care facilities.
Opportunity: General Surgeon
*Full-time permanent position
*Flexibility to work 0.8 - 1.0 FTE.
*1:2 weekday call
*1:4 weekend/holiday community call
*Weekly schedule consists of clinic, surgery, endoscopy, and daytime outreach which could include Perham and Fosston, MN
*Board Certified- Required
*ATLS- Required
*Practice includes general, colorectal, laparoscopic, wound care, endoscopy and colonoscopy; practice has growth potential for unique or new services.
